Solar Hot Air for Industrial Applications Using Linear Fresnel Concentrating Collectors and Open Brayton Cycle Layout

چکیده

Many industrial processes use hot air as a medium. This is especially relevant for drying. Nowadays, most of them consume fossil energy. study analyses an innovative facility direct solar heating up to 400 °C. For this aim, medium-scale field linear Fresnel collectors proposed heat ambient inside it. No other dedicated transfer fluid necessary. A simpler layout avoids costs, hurdles, and risks liquids the related machinery. Brayton cycle configuration auxiliary energy consumption pumping through by coupling with turbocharger. mathematical model simulates system size along typical meteorological year. It confirms feasibility proposal high potential helping transition sustainability.
